They could of at least made him and Pikkon meet and train together in some kind of way. I always wanted them two to meet each other. Goku himself said they needed to.

I like the general idea that Piccolo's final moment is a heroic sacrifice. I just think the reasoning behind it is stupid. Although the music that plays when he talks to Gohan is amazing.

I was definitely not happy about how Piccolo ended up, but at least he actually does something. Krillin and Yamcha retire completely and Tien and Chiaotzu are only in like two episodes of the whole series. I understand that the humans are comparatively weak and also aged in GT, but come on. Piccolo, Tien, Krillin, Yamcha, and Chiaotzu are major parts of Goku's life and each of them deserved better than they got post-Saiyan saga.

I cried when i first saw the scene of Piccolos death in the japanese dub. I liked how Piccolo died.. Although i hate the idea of the black star dragon balls, seeing as it was in the saga anyways and i couldnt do anything about that lol.. Piccolo's death was very noble.. and im pretty sure he somehow found a way to get out of hell.

I was so NOT ok with this. I was about 8 years old, and Piccolo was my favorite character ever. I actually stopped watching GT after the hell episode because I was so mad.

I guess I thought that if I boycotted it, Piccolo would come back? XD I was so dumb.

I eventually watched the rest in the past year to prepare for doing a DB/DBZ/DBGT Panel. I still am sad, but I'm sure Piccolo will either get out of hell, or run it.

Piccolo was also in the wrong heaven. He was in the no body's heaven, he should've been in the warrior heaven. Remember Goku and Pikkon could traverse between that realm and Hell anytime they wanted. But then again it's GT and the existence of the Grand Kai planet is filler in DBZ.
That 'warrior heaven' you speak of was not another Heaven, it was Other World, I guess you could call it a heaven but I think was a place only the best fighters from around the universe are allowed to go to. I also thought one of the Kai's said something about those who sacrificed themselves to save how ever many people can also join Other World, if that's correct then it kinda contradicts GT in that Piccolo should have been allowed to go there. Then again, we are talking about filler AND GT, which contradicts contradictions all over the place.

-On Topic-

It was very sad when Piccolo died, very sad, but he went out like a BOSS! A few things, IMO, would have placed finishing touches to make it perfect. First off, although I prefer the Japanese anime, I do like Bruce Faulconer's scores throughout Funimation dub, and an epic theme, similar to Vegeta's Final Atonement, would have been freaking awesome. Another addition would have GT actually show Piccolo remembering Gohan when he was being trained by Piccolo, or beating Cell, or something along those lines, not Piccolo saying how much Gohan as grown, while picturing the scene when Gohan KHH'd him in the face! Cool ending though, better than sacrificing himself against an opponent, because 1) its been done lots of times and 2) with everyone else's power in GT, he would have died and then someone else would have had to kill the villain, thus Piccolo dying in vain...
Hey Piccolo......are..are you a Yoshi?
